1400kVA Twin Pack Generator

The GQW1400V Twingen is a high-density power solution housing two complete generating sets inside a single 20ft High Cube soundproof container. Powered by dual Volvo TWD1644GE six-cylinder engines paired with dual Mecc Alte brushless alternators, it delivers 1,250 kVA prime power and 1,400 kVA standby — all within a compact, weatherproof package that’s fast to install and easy to maintain.

The TwinPack design lets both gensets run independently or in parallel via a DSE8003 synchronising control panel, automatically matching output to load demand. Run one engine during low periods, both at peak — maximising fuel efficiency and reducing engine wear. A shared 1,800-litre double-wall fuel tank services both units, and the system can synchronise with up to 16 additional Twingen units for virtually unlimited scalable power.

Wide access doors, roof panels, and a dedicated radiator compartment make servicing fast on-site. The 2,000A busbar output accepts up to 8 cable conductors, with multi-pin connectors for straightforward parallel connection.
